Selçuk Yılmaz was born in İskenderun, Hatay. In 2008 graduated from the Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Between 2009 and 2018, he held different levels of management at leading companies in the steel industry, where he developed in-depth specialization in production processes and made significant contributions to the commissioning of their investments. In March 2018, he joined Yıldız Demir Çelik as a Supply Chain Director, during that time he also successfully completed an Executive MBA program at Sabancı University. Since August 2022, Selçuk Yılmaz has served as Deputy General Manager for Commercial, and as of September 2024, he is now continuing his role as the General Manager at Yıldız Demir Çelik.
