The Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (ÇİB) will organize the Steel Networking Summit 2026, which is scheduled to take place on 25–27 October 2026 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul. The Summit aims to bring together leading representatives of the global steel industry in Istanbul, provide a platform to assess the latest developments shaping the sector, and foster new international business partnerships.

The conference is expected to attract a distinguished audience, including:

  • More than 400 participants,
  • More than 200 international participants,
  • Representatives from over 80 countries,
  • More than 30 high-level speakers,
  • Over 30 hours of targeted networking opportunities, including the Buyer Delegation Programme.

Within this framework, the Summit aims to facilitate direct engagement among industry representatives, steel producers, trading companies, buyers, and other key stakeholders from different countries, while creating opportunities for establishing new business connections and developing international partnerships.

The conference programme is expected to address key issues shaping the global steel industry, including the impact of the global economic outlook on the steel sector, changes in global trade, trade policies and protective measures, the green transition, and competitiveness. In addition, the impact of artificial intelligence and smart technologies on the future of the steel industry, as well as emerging opportunities and challenges arising from the sector's transformation, will be discussed.

In addition to providing a platform for industry knowledge-sharing and high-level assessments, the conference aims to contribute directly to the development of commercial partnerships. In this regard, the Buyer Delegation Programme and B2B business meetings are planned to bring Turkish steel companies together with international buyers, facilitating the establishment of new business connections and the development of concrete commercial opportunities.

To further enhance networking among participants, a range of networking activities will be organized. In addition, a Networking Event on the Bosphorus is planned to take place on the first day of the conference, providing participants with an informal setting to strengthen professional connections and explore potential areas of cooperation.

Through the Steel Networking Summit 2026, the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association aims to provide a high-level platform for leading industry representatives to assess economic, commercial, and technological developments shaping the global steel sector; strengthen the international visibility of the Turkish steel industry and its position within global supply chains; enhance the exchange of knowledge and experience among industry stakeholders; and foster tangible international business partnerships.
